Where Can You Drive a Golf Cart in Pensacola Beach? Golf Carts can be driven on any road where the speed limit is 25 MPH or less. A Street Legal Golf Cart is allowed to drive on any road where the Speed Limit is 35 MPH or less. All of our carts are Street Legal.

Temps this time of year rise from average highs in the 70s to the low 90s by July and August, making it ideal for days on the beach. Still, beginning in June (and lasting through November), hurricane season starts, and this could put a real damper on your vacation plans.

Tents, umbrellas, chairs and other beach gear are not allowed to be left overnight on the beach. Trashcans are provided near all beach entrances, and you are asked to fill in any holes you may dig in the sand. May through October is sea turtle nesting season.

They can traverse highways that bisect golf courses, trailer parks, or similar locales, provided the crossing is marked and deemed safe. Florida law also accommodates the operation of golf carts on designated public roads and streets where the posted speed limit is no greater than 30 miles per hour.

Golf carts are not allowed on Emerald Coast Parkway (Highway 98). Golf carts are allowed ONLY on posted roads with speed limit of 35mph or less. Children under the age of 3 are required to ride in a car seat. Children 4 and up must sit in their own seat with a seat belt, booster seat is recommended but not required.

Although they are not allowed on the beach, you can cruise anywhere else to access the beach and the amazing activities around St Pete Beach. You can park your St. Pete Beach golf carts anywhere, which is quite easy due to their size. They will fit in any parking area, even the smallest ones!
