How strong is Pavitr Prabhakar? ›

The film, which follows the life of Miles Morales, five years after 2018's Into the Spider-Verse, also introduces the world to Pavitr Prabhakar, India's very own Spider-Man. The character has been voiced by Karan Soni in English and Shubhman Gill in Hindi and Punjabi.

Pavitr Prabhakar is a student at Mumbattan Visions Academy who gained spider-like abilities, and fights crime across Mumbathan as the superhero Spider-Man. While Pavitr juggled his hero duties with the demands of his high-school life, he was approached by Miguel O'Hara to become part of the Spider-Society.

Created by Jeevan Kang, Suresh Seetharaman, and Sharad Devarajan, Pavitr Prabhakar debuted in SPIDER-MAN: INDIA (2004) #1. Like Parker, Prabhakar grew up under the care of his Aunt Maya and Uncle Bhim.

Instead of looking like the classic Spider-Man costume with a little Indian flair, they made Pavitr look like a Spider-Man from India. For example, instead of basic web-shooters, Pavitr's web-shooters are a part of his traditional-looking bangles.

Spider-Man 2211 had four robotic arms on his costume that greatly increased his strength, allowing him to lift around 25 tons. This made him one of the strongest versions of Spider-Man in any era, though other characters with multiple arms could challenge him as well.

Appearance. Miles is a teenage boy of African-American and Hispanic descent. He is of average height and weight, standing at 5'8" and weighing 140 lbs respectively, and shares many facial features with his father. He has short black hair with thick eyebrows.

Plot summary. Pavitr Prabhakar, a simple Indian boy from a remote village, moves to Mumbai with his Aunt Maya and Uncle Bhim to study after getting half a scholarship. His parents died some years ago. Other students at his new school tease him and hit him for his studious nature and village background.
