Colors: Adderall® 5 mg is a white to off-white tablet, which contains no color additives. Adderall® 7.5 mg and 10 mg contain FD&C Blue #1. Adderall® 12.5 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg and 30 mg contain FD&C Yellow #6 as a color additive.

It's also important to avoid citrus fruits and juices for at least 1 hour before and after each dose. This could make Adderall less effective than usual.

In my experience, the only generic that works like the brand-name is Prasco, which acquired Teva's generic XR in 2016. Few pharmacies use Prasco as their generic because it's more expensive! My doctor specifies “Prasco generic only” on my prescription for D-Amphetamine ER 30MG Salt combo.

Try not to take any Adderall after 5 p.m. If you use an XR version, try not to take it after 2 p.m.

“Adderall helps reduce symptoms of ADHD in about 80 percent of my pediatric patients,” Dr. Chatigny says. “Children with ADHD experience what's called a paradoxical reaction to the medication. It calms them and most often improves their ability to focus.”

In general, don't take extra doses of Adderall or Adderall XR, even if you missed an earlier dose. This can increase your risk for side effects and may lead to an Adderall overdose.

Percocet is a prescription opioid painkiller that has the potential for abuse. Most Percocet comes in a yellow oval shape, but pills can also be white, blue and round. Percocet dosages printed on pills range from 2.5 mg to 10 mg.

Tadalafil (Cialis) is taken by mouth either as needed before sexual activity or once daily for erectile dysfunction (ED).
