How to enchant in Terraria? ›

Enchanting can be accessed by talking to the Brimstone Witch and choosing "Enchant" from the options (upon opening this option for the first time, she will give the player a Brimstone Locus). The player can then insert the item to be enchanted into the interface that appears below the inventory.

Weapon Infusion

Allows you to consume a more powerful weapon to upgrade the damage of a lower power weapon. Example, if you like Veilthorn more than your newer/stronger weapon, just infuse the new weapon into Veilthorn to upgrade it's damage instead of switching.

Terraria has you frequently swapping old gear for new. The enchanting system allows you to keep your progress as you upgrade gear.

To enchant your tool, you'll simply place it on the enchanting table in the left slot and place some lapis lazuli in the right slot. Three enchantment options will appear to the right. Applying one of the enchantments will cost 1 to 3 lapis lazuli and 1 to 3 player levels (that you earn from XP).

Enchanting through the enchantment table requires player experience or levels and lapis lazuli. Once you place the tool/armor/book, you can select from three choices of enchantments, each requiring different amounts of experience and lapis lazuli. Once you select one the item will be enchanted.

You can enchant a pickaxe that you are holding by using the /enchant command. For example, you can use the /enchant command to enchant the pickaxe that the player called DigMinecraft is holding with Fortune III. In this example, fortune is the name of the enchantment and 3 is the level of the enchantment to add.

The best universal modifier is Godly or Demonic. The two modifiers only differ in knockback, a stat that is not considered very useful (or even beneficial) in many situations. The difference in knockback is also negligible enough that Godly and Demonic can be treated as the same modifier.

Infusion Enchantment is a research option found under the Artifice tab that becomes unlocked for research after researching Elemental Tools.

Swords applied with the Venomous Enchantment gain the following benefits at their respective levels: Reduces the target's walk speed by 5-30% and deals +0.3-1.8% of your damage per second per hit, stacking globally up to 40 hits.

The rarest item to drop is the Slime Staff, since it has a 1/10000 chance to drop from Slimes. However, there used to be an even rarer item, the Uzi, which had a 1/80000 drop chance from Angry Trappers. For some reason, they had the drop chance being so low, despite the weapon being just a slightly better Megashark.

Can you morph in Terraria? ›

Morphs have a certain amount of HP. Once your morph dies, you die. You can't use any weapons or items when morphed(exception being the Lizahrd morph), but armor and accessories still have their effects. If you want to un-morph, right click the buff you have when morphed.

To make an enchanting table, open the crafting menu and arrange (1) book, (2) diamonds, and (4) obsidian ores in the following order: One book in the second column of the first row. A diamond, obsidian ore, and then another diamond (in that order) in the columns of the second row.

To extract an enchantment, the player must throw an enchanted item on top of an Enchantment Extractor. The enchantment will be removed from the item, but the item will not be deleted.

Mobile version, items are reforged by clicking the reforge button after speaking to the Goblin Tinkerer. It will pull up the inventory and highlight items that can be reforged (ones that cannot are hidden by a shadow). Hover the cursor over the item that is to be reforged and press the reforge button.
